New Gray Hair Solution
How to cover gray hair? Use No Gray!
It is a new product from DeveloPlus. No Gray is specially formulated to mix with hair dye or tint and will keep the gray from breaking through for up to 6 weeks.
What is so unique about No Gray? Nothing on the market today can offer this long-term solution to the gray showing through.
According to the company, both women and men, who use home coloring products, have been very frustrated by not being able to stop the power of gray. Simply put, after a few days, it just shows through. The frustration over scant gray hair coverage is exactly why our team researched the problem and created No Gray.
How does it work? When mixed with a home hair-coloring product, it adds pigment to the color mixture.
The No Gray formula penetrates through the cuticle layer and reduces the surface tension of water enabling the color pigmentation to cling to the hair much better. This allows uniform penetration into the hair shaft and creates much richer color and literally, weeks of no gray.
No Gray is available in three consumer packages:
- No Gray for Women single application, $2.99; - No Gray for Women double application, $5.75; - No Gray for Men, $2.99.
It is available at major retail chains and many local retail outlets.

Hope for Diminishing That Gray
Nothing says the demise of youth and vitality like those first few strands of gray hair.
And yet, it happens to all of us - some even younger than others - and when wallet-watching causes us to spend less time at the salon,, we are increasingly trying to deal with the situation at home.
Too many times, we try to put that champagne blond on our hair, peek at mirror, and discover gray is showing through. Gah!!!!
Any colorist will tell you that gray hair can be stronger than hair processing. It is a ferocious foe!
I recently looked into No Gray though. (Not for me! I am still gray-free, I swear!). It is a new product from Developlus, and it's formulated to mix with hair dye or tint and will keep the gray from breaking through.
When mixed with a home hair-coloring product, it adds pigment to the color mixture by penetrating through the cuticle and helping the color to cling to the hair much better. This leads to - better (no gray) color! Yay!
Well, until it wears off. (In about 4-6 weeks.)

Prices range from $24.50 to $35, or you can buy all four products in a kit for $100; they're available at Sephora stores, sephora.com and Fekkai salons.

Elle.com - Good, bad or Ugly, clean up color with Color Oops
Every solar eclipse or so, a certain trend comes along to baffle fashion and beauty editors the world over. So how does one categorize the recent emergence of bright, neon-like highlights in hair, otherwise known as poplights? A passing fancy? Punk rock chic? A nouveau raver's delight? We simply can't ignore its appearance on the red carpet and the runway: Rachel McAdams, Avril Lavigne, and the spring 2007 fashion shows. While Red Door celebrity stylist Brad Johns would claim that this is a new hair "accessory," the jury here at Elle.com is not quite sure where to stand. Perhaps we can leave the verdict up to you, dear reader. It is possible to correct coloring mistakes to restore hair back to its original color.

Wikipedia - Splat hair color
Splat Rebellious Colors is a special effect direct dye hair coloring system including bleach and peroxide.
Products: Six colors of Splat are available at this time: Blue Envy (bright blue), Pink Fetish (hot pink); Luscious Raspberries (crayon red), Lusty Lavender, and the two newest colors- Neon Green (bright green) and the Multicolor Kit (includes 3 new colors).
A hair lightening kit is included in each Splat box. Splat haircolor used on unbleached hair will give a more subtle wash of color. Used on bleached hair, it will produce a more extreme color effect. The box also contains a pair of plastic gloves.
Splat color lasts approximately six to eight weeks and in many cases, even longer. It's available at chain drug stores and some chain supermarkets.
History: DeveloPlus, the maker of Splat, was founded 20 years ago by Dave Agrey. He started his career creating dyes for private labels and branched out on his own with the professional Satin haircolor line. For the retail consumer DeveloPlus created Color Oops, a haircolor remover, and Splat.
Direct Dyes: While natural-tone hair dyes require a developer to create tone and fix into the hair shaft, direct dyes act more like house paint on a wall. Direct dyes coat the outside of the hair shaft with color, which is why it is often suggested to lighten the hair before applying in order to get the full impact of the bright special effect color(s).
